Where to begin?
My youngest daughter lives in Ohio USA with her American hubby and a 4 year old daughter. As they were expecting a new baby in March 2020, we decided to take the trip over and be with them for the birth. There was some talk on the news about a new virus coming out of China, but no serious alarm bells, I certainly wasn’t going to cancel my trip. Every day we jump in the car and take a drive there are risks. Every year I risk getting the flu, and I thought the media was probably blowing it all out of proportion anyway. Didn’t we all? On February 28th we flew out from Melbourne, via Sydney to Dallas, Texas and then on to Dayton Ohio. We enjoyed being in Economy plus for the first time, definitely worth the extra cash to have the comfort! I suffer a bit of anxiety and I am not a keen flyer due to a mild case of claustrophobia.
